It’s not too late to make summer travel plans — especially if you have a Chase Sapphire Rewards card.
The Chase Sapphire card is different from a standard rewards card in that it puts an emphasis on travel bonuses.
Earn a Free Flight
If you spend $3,000 within the first three months of opening your Chase Sapphire account, you will earn 25,000 bonus points. That’s enough for one free flight (or $250 cash if you don’t have time to travel).
Sapphire
Chase Sapphire’s travel benefits don’t end there: The points you accumulate are worth 25% more when you redeem them for travel through Chase’s Ultimate Rewards program. You can also receive twice as many points on airline purchases than you would on any other item.
Other Chase Sapphire Information
The card comes with a 7% points dividend, meaning you will earn 7% in additional points each year, based on the yearly total of points you’ve earned. The card comes without an annual fee for the first year, a value of $85.
You can expect an interest rate of about 12% (varies, depending on the market) with the Chase Sapphire card.
