Saving Money by Eating Ethnically

I was in San Diego a few weeks ago, and I was able to get a plate of tacos, along with enough tortillas and tamales to feed four people dinner for under $10. The price was certainly right and while I was in a neighborhood where all the signs happened to be in Spanish, I’ve found similar prices by choosing ethnic restaurants all over the country.

Starting a Kitchen Garden

We’re chugging along through 2010, trying to meet our goals for the year. Since we’ve automated much of our finances, we’ve had some extra time to pursue other goals. Something that I’m particularly proud of is our small garden out front. We have a kitchen garden, meaning everything that we’re growing is meant to be used as food.
