Three years ago today my twin sons were born.  It was an exhausting, chaotic time in our lives, but one that taught us the importance of friends and family.  We are so very blessed!

Subway Give Away


We don’t eat out often but when we do our choices locally are limited.  Since I’ve been doing a lot more cooking from scratch and eating more wholesome and organic foods my palate for fast food has dwindled.  I still love french fries (not sure I’ll ever be able to give up fast food french fries totally!) and we do occasionally eat a meal from a drive thru chain – but I’ve gotten much pickier.

Homemade Chicken Stock


Homemade chicken stock is super easy to make and totally delicious.  The best part is that you can control the ingredients so you can make it organic or natural and you can control the salt.  I love to make my own chicken stock to use in homemade soup, to cook with in several of my dishes, and to saute vegetables, just to name a few.
